POB-Technology was created August-2nd, 2005 by Pierre Seguin. POB means « Piece Of Bot ».

As any company built on an ideal, POB develops thanks to an ultra-motivated team which does not count working hours. In 2006, POB markets its first robot, the POB- BOT, and then little by little stands out as a major actor of playful and educational robotics.

By means of determination, the POB team demonstrates its legitimacy to the other French, European and International companies also. In September 2009, Pierre Seguin opened its capital to Lyon Business Angels, allowing a 290K€ fund raising.

Thanks to this investment, POB finalizes a new range of products, The POB Robotics Suite. This key product has all key components to allow a democratization of the robotics process. In a near future, the robot will become an object as familiar as a personal computer.
