VEX is the American leader of playful and educational robotics. VEX technology is based on a robust mechanical construction kit which is very easy to assemble. VEX brings solidity and reliability to build robots of great size.

VEX standard

As for the POB Robotics Suite products, VEX mechanical parts are based on a square of 12,7 mm by 12,7 mm, that is to say ½ side inch.

Assembling

VEX did create numerous motors in order to fit all your needs. VEX constructions can be very solid and impressive : hardered steel bars stiffen your structure. The essence of VEX products is to build robots that are fully adapted to challenges and competitions.

VEX joystick

The joystick allows radio control of your robot. This specific technology was specially developed par VEX and is named VEX.net. The joystick can store pre-programmed actions to give repetitive orders to your robot.

Programming

As for the POB Robotics Suite, VEX control system can be programmed in C language and Risbee, the graphical programming language developed by POB-Technology.

Compatibility VEX / POB Robotics Suite

Both companies use the same mechanical standard, a 12,7mm side square with a 4mm hole. It is then possible to use VEX mechanical parts on the POB Robotics Suite range of products. Moreover an additional card allows the connection of VEX sensors and motors to your POB Robotics Suite.
